New updates and troubles with word processor plugin
Hi everyone, I've seen there have been changes to Zotero for Firefox users so I adapted myself to it.
I upgraded to Firefox 57 and installed Zotero standalone 5.0 and the new Zotero connector (5.0.26).
The problem is the Zotero toolbar within MS word disappeared after the upgrade. I use the 2016 version for Mac (OS X El Capitan).
I tried everything, I think, following all the instruction here (https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation).
I tried to manually install it, I went through the troubleshooting page and apparently it's all right, the Zotero.dotm file is where it's supposed to be, but still no icons in MS word toolbar.
I hope someone can help me, please, I'm desperate. I have to submit an article and the idea of inserting all the citations manually kills me.

adamsmithMac or Windows? If Mac, which version exactly?
-
Kira NekoI'm sorry I just edited the original post. Mac (OS X El Capitan).

adamsmithWhat Word version exactly -- you should have 15.38 upwards (I think current is 15.40).
-
Kira NekoVersion 15.13.3... Do you think I should just update Word, too?
-
adamsmithyes, definitely. Problems with the Zotero (and many other add-on) icons not appearing are known for old Word 2016 for Mac versions.

Kira NekoWord updated, Zotero toolbar magically materialized. It didn't come up to my mind that Word could be the problem, thank you so much!
