Zotero I see ... but my library ... oh my library???
Got zotero appearing, it now asks for a url when I try to launch it.
I suspect it is something to do with the new sync feature.
On another note, I still can not get the programme to link to my library which I can manually find.
So I have a zotero asking for a url ??? and don't know how to link it to my zotero library.
Your assistance sure is appreciated.

I followed the advice in the above link and found the two different files ... now what?
Problem might relate to having made a few copies of files on B drive and C drive.
I don't know, this is getting awfully confusing and perhaps more trouble that it is worth :(
Still no library in the programme itself.
Please advise
I've got storage folder and files:
zotero sqlite
" " 1.bak
" " .36.bak
" " .bak
If this is, in fact, your original data directory, zotero.sqlite.36.bak should be your database immediately before upgrading to 1.5, but, assuming 'storage' is already upgraded for 1.5 (i.e., it has folders named with eight-character strings instead of just numbers), you wouldn't be able to revert to that without losing all your attachment links (or renaming each one using the mappings in the zotero.moved-files text file in the data directory).
If this isn't your original data directory, you'll need to find it elsewhere and follow the restore steps on the Zotero Data page.
thanks for your patience and help.
boy this whole ordeal has shown me a lot more about zotero
