opening a pdf in zotero 5 under linux produces wine "DDE error"

I have just replaced Zotero 4 in Firefox to Zotero 5 under OpenSuse. When I try to open a saved PDF document, a wine dialog pops up showing DDE error. Otherwise the PDF file opens fine in okular. What is the problem, why wine is involved in opening a pdf file?

unfortunately file handling in linux is all over the place, even more so once you move away from the most common end-user distros.

Thanks. Your link helped. Not exactly the way it is suggested, instead under ./local/share/applications there was a wine-extension-pdf.desktop file. I have removed it and now it works fine.
