Proquest databases not working as intended

Trying to save items from Proquest, specifically Social Science premium collection has not been working this afternoon. The lower righthand prompt comes up that it is saving to Zotero, but it doesn't actually save either the item or the PDF to Zotero.
  • Are you trying on the details/abstract view or the PDF view? Saving on the PDF view may not work properly (not sure if we've fixed that yet), but the details page should work.
  • Details/Abstract view works but the other two tabs, Full text and Full text PDF still do not work. Thanks.
  • I don't have access to Social Science premium, but elsewhere on PQ this works for me. Do you get the same error in any of the ProQuest Central databases (say the social science one https://search.proquest.com/socscijournals )?
  • I have tried several different ProQuest databases, and they are all behaving in the same manner. Working w/details/abstract but not other tabs.
  • odd -- what setup exactly (browser, Zotero version, connector version)? And I assume you're accessing these on campus, not through a proxy?
Also, Proquest for some reason imports quite slowly for me -- you've waited a bit for the import to complete, yes?
  • Accessing them here : https://search-proquest-com.ezp-prod1.hul.harvard.edu
I have waited for several minutes and eventually have to leave the page. The "saving to Zotero" message is still present in the lower right-hand corner. Using Chrome.
  • Could you try if accessing them on campus, without the ezp-prod1.hul.harvard.edu part, works?
I'll also check this out with EZ Proxy, see if it makes a difference
  • I was able to make this work without the EZ Proxy.
  • OK, great -- I'll troubleshoot with proxy and let you know if I can replicate and (hopefully) fix.
  • I am having trouble pulling pdfs into zotero from proquest
