Aquaculture Error

Hello,

The zotero output for Aquaculture gives the wrong style of DOI. Currently the format is doi:10.1080/15222055.2015.1024362 but based off the Aquaculture guidelines for authors it should be listed in this format https://doi.org/10.1029/2001JB000884.

This is an Elsevier journal and uses the same style as other Elsevier journals. They don’t actually print the DOI in the article, but only use it to link the references with their citation database. The old DOI format should be fine (they use an automated tool to do that processing). Let us know if you are asked to make such changes by the publisher.

@adamsmith, don't you think we can make this change? https://www.zotero.org/styles/elsevier-harvard?source=1 points to https://www.elsevier.com/journals/biological-conservation/0006-3207/guide-for-authors#68000, and that style guide now uses "https://doi.org" prefixes.

(and regardless, I think Elsevier is flexible enough on this point anyways)

Yes, I think converting them to proper DOI format makes sense.

The fix is now live, so your style should work as intended after it has updated in Zotero. (You can also force it to update manually in the Preferences)
