"Deleting Collections" on Windows

Hi,

they say: "Adding an item to a collection does not make a copy of the item."
On a Windows PC can I delete a collection and the items are still in "My Library" or does this work just on OS X (on an Apple PC)?

    If you have the item in the "My Library" then you can copy or move it to all collections in your library and it is still one record. So if you delete it from any collection then there is "deleted" the only link of the record to this collection but the record is still in your "My Library". This is the same behaviour on all platforms.

    And also, if you delete a collection using "Delete Collection" or the delete key, all items are indeed still in My Library. There is a seperate "Delete Collection and Items" option that will also move all items in the collection to the trash.

    The confirmation message you get on deleting a collection will confirm this behavior.

    All of this is consistent across operating systems.
