modifying Zotero files
Hello everyone!
I am reading the developer documentation, and it says:
"Most of the Zotero code is stored within the zotero.jar file in the chrome folder of the Zotero extension directory. JAR files in Firefox are simply ZIP files, so you can extract the contents using any unzipping program, edit the files, and zip them back up. For performance reasons, it’s best not to use compression when zipping the files."
I can't find the damn thing anywhere. Running Mac OS X 10.5.6, Zotero 1.0.9, Firefox 3.0.1. All I need to do is some custom edits to the BibTeX export translator file.
Any idea where I should be looking?
Help greatly appreciated!!!

Modifying the actual extension files is rarely necessary, but, for future reference, the extension directory is the 'zotero@chnm.gmu.edu' directory within the 'extensions' subdirectory of your Firefox profile. I'll clarify this on the documentation page.
I was wondering why I couldn't find it - wrong version of the software!
Here's the problem I am trying to solve:

I have upgraded to 1.5, found the bibtex.js file. Will report on the results once I try things out.
Many many thanks, you saved a lot of tedious data cleaning!
