Roling back to Zotero 4
Hi there
I've upgraded to Z5---which looks great, by the way---but this has broken all the citekeys used by the BetterBibTex plugin, and this is fatal for my workflow.
I think I'll need to roll back to version 4 using a Time Machine backup.
Am I right in thinking that as long as I have the Zotero 4 binary installed and I roll back the 'Data Directory' (as referred to in the settings), this will get me back to my previous working installation?
Cheers
Ian

adamsmithZ4 binary and Z4 data directory is all you need for rollback, yes. (note that there is a BBT alpha/beta version that works on Z5 -- not sure how stable it is yet, but my sense is it's been stabilizing quite a bit).
-
emilianoeheynsAll the essential things are stable enough for use, and I've started putting out pre-releases which are installable and which will auto-update; what's still in the pipeline is integration work (Cite As You Write and Scholarly Markdown) and Juris-M support, and some odds and ends.

emilianoeheyns(you will need to uninstall the existing BBT and then reinstall 5.0.26+)

ianmhockingThanks, Adam, and Emilia---the new BBT is certainly stable, and I'm back up to speed. Thanks again!
-
emilianoeheynsThat would be Emiliano, please, or Emile for short.
-
ianmhockingApologies, Emiliano! Parsing error.

emilianoeheynsNo apologies expected or necessary. I have parsing errors all the time, and you're not the first to get the gender wrong (although that usually only happens to me on the phone). It's just not something I want to have stick around,is all.
