Zotero not showing in Firefox 3.0.8

Zotero is appearing what seems like randomly in my Firefox 3.0.8 browser.
Sometimes it's there ... and sometimes it isn't.
Just updated to 1.5 Zotero and would like this to just be consistent.
Any help appreciated.

    Not sure what you mean by appearing randomly. What part is appearing randomly? The logo in the Status Bar? The icon in the location bar? The link to the interface in the Tools drop down menu?

    When I open the browser it does not appear, i.e., the logo in the bottom right of the browser.
    In the tools drop-down menu, it doesn't appear there either. In fact, the menu goes blank!
    Why me?

    Are you running any other extensions? If so try disabling all the other ones and restarting? Does the problem persist?

    I can't disable, cause nothing shows up in the browser tools menu.

    So Zotero is not showing up anywhere, not in the status bar, not in the tools menu, not on your list of installed extensions.

    Nothing showing up.
    Did notice however that the tools were hiding; for some reason I have to scroll up or down with a big void in the middle.

    Since it sounds as if it isn't listed in your extensions, you will need to reinstall it. You may benefit from the other suggestions on that page as well.

    But if your tools menu is corrupt, you might be having bigger problems with your profile. You can create a new profile & copy your old zotero directory into it.
