Safari Connector doesn't recognize any pages as translatable

Hi, I have just upgraded to the latest version of Zotero and am using the most recent translators/Safari connector. When I go to an article on a site like JSTOR, the connector does not recognize it as a savable entity. The Z on the button remains grayed-out no matter where I go or what I do. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I should note that my Chrome extension isn't having any issues, but I am trying to move to using Safari.

Try disabling all other add-ons in Safari for testing.
If that doesn't help, keep them
We'd need debug ID from the Safari connector for loading or reloading a page that doesn't detect (and does detect on Chrome).

The plot thickens:
when I right click "anywhere on a webpage" and click Zotero Preferences, nothing happens.

I don't know the formal minimal requirements, but any way you can update? Preferably to 11, but at least to 10.1.2, which is also otherwise safer.
Particularly 10.1 introduced a bunch of additional compatibility, which the extension might rely on.

Updated my MacOS (and by extension Safari) -- I am now running 10.1.2 and have full Zotero functionality.

I think it's safe to declare 10.1 a minimum req. for the current iteration of the Safari Connector. Thanks for the guidance, even though the issue was update laziness on my part.
