Automatic tagging and abstract issues

Hello,

I am new to zotero and im having some difficulties with these topics:

- Even when the "Automatic tag items with keywords and subject headings" checkbox is unchecked in the preferences, zotero will include the keywords of the article in the tags automatically when i export something with RIS format;

- Also, when exporting with RIS format including the abstract (in sciencedirect) zotero will create a note with the abstract text instead of filling the Abstract item field, being the latter preferable;

Can somebody help me with this issues?

    I can see how you might think the "Automatic tag items with keywords and subject headings" preference is related here but it is really about pulling things in from the web. If you want to ignore your tags in the RIS file just do a find and replace for the tag, (I think it is KW) If you replace it with some gibberish they should get skipped over on import.

    The issue with the RIS translator is a known bug and is tied to a weakness in the RIS spec which we intend to work around. https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1338
