sync problems

Zotero is not syncing with the server. The green arrow button in the upper right corner just goes round and round.

  • OK. Can you restart provide Debug ID here? In the Help select Debug Output Logging > Restart with Logging Enabled...
    Wait few minutes after Zotero restart and then Disable debugging and Submit an output. Copy the Debug ID to the clipboard and post it here.

  • Well, what do you mean by that? That shows a sync in progress. When you submitted it, it looks like it was downloading a very large (300 MB) file, which you can see by pasting 8GIQKGWI into the Zotero search bar in All Fields & Tags mode.
  • Yes. I apologize for any confusion. Earlier today when I turned the computer back on and it was syncing, after some time a red exclamation mark was visible beside the green syncing arrow. When I clicked on the exclamation mark it indicated there was a syncing problem. There is no exclamation mark now, and the sync arrow is not spinning. So, I hope the problem is now resolved. If the exclamation mark appears again, then I will certainly let you know. Thank you very much.
