    Sorry, I didn't understand exactly what kind of expample is needed.

    This is the citation style request. Please ask me for any issues.

    Note that with copy/paste is lost the italic style for the titles.
    So only this titles have to be in italic (Note that article titles, chapter and books title):

    "The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success"
    "Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?"
    "Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage"

    The Journal name included in « » must be in plain style.

    Thanks. Those two examples are correct.
    - What does "plain" style mean?
    - As outlined in the link I had sent you we will need an example publication. I won't look at it otherwise. And I doubt anybody else will. Also,
    - You can put text in italics by using these html brackets: <i>Italian italics</i>
    - Is Mimesis a publishing house that uses that very style for all their publications?
    - Can you rename this thread to Style Request: Mimesis ? That makes more sense ;)

    I suppose so. Because if you look at their editorial notes here http://mimesisedizioni.it/Norme-editoriali-Mimesis.pdf there are the indications for all kinds of publications

    Great work!

    For me this style is an important step forward because it saves a lot of my time.

    Unfortunately some imperfections are still present. I don't know if you wish continue to improve this style.

    If so, for me will be very important, otherwise I can understand if you can't give other more time to the style.

    But, if you like, I post below the few issues I have found:

    1- There are parenthesis around the publication year like: (1978) but it must be 1978 without parenthesis
    2- Journal name included in « » must be in Roman style and not in italic.
    3- n. must appear before the number of the journal. Ex n. 1

    I went by your example paper, as these guidelines are rather minimal, hence some discrepancies.
    Can you test the ibid. and the location citation out and let me know if that works accordingly?

    I put an example from my work. It's a Journal reference. There, in the last row, you will find two colors: red in order to indicate what must be in the string and in yellow the simple style change that is needed.

    You can make italics here this forum by adding <i>italics</i>. (especially with the formatting marks on (them dots instead of spaces), those pics are hard to read)

    The style is improved very well.
    There is only a little problem but it is my mistake. A made a little error when I said to you that the Journal name is in Italic. It is not. It is in Roman, like this (using from your example): «Comparative Political Studies»
    After that, the Journal-article part is perfect for the Mimesis Editor

    About the book reference there is only a little lack: after the city of the editor must be a ,
    For example London,

    Check the guidelines. Books are given like this:
    S. Cattaruzza, M. Sinico (a cura di), Husserl in laboratorio, E.U.T., Trieste
    2005.
    That means there is no comma after Trieste!

    About the editor's city You are right, sorry.

    In the last csl I did not see any changes about the journal name. It simply be converted in Roman style, like here Comparative Political Studies, all the rest is ok. So final result mus be: «Comparative Political Studies»

Sorry to bring up this post, but I need the Mimesis style too and I’ve noticed an imperfection (I hope I will be able to make myself clear): When I use the same citation a second time, Zotero copies the note entirely, while according to mimesis editorial rules it should be shortened to the author and tile only, followed by ‘cit’

    For example:
    J. L. Campbell, O. K. Pedersen, The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success, in «Comparative Political Studies», vol. 40, n. 3, 2007, pp. 307-332.
    if used a second time should be:
    J. L. Campbell, O. K. Pedersen, The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success, cit.

    And

    The style wants ibidem (already in the style), but also this cit. thing.
    Is the cit. thing used with the "subsequent" conditional?

    exactly you'd just add <text value="cit." prefix=", "/> at the end of the citation for <if position="subsequent"/>

    Cool. Just wasn't sure how cit. is used. Never used that in writing or had to put it in a style yet.
