Enforce/Prevent line break in bibliography

Hello,

I'm using zotero with bibtex export (Windows Wester 1252) and pdflatex (Miktex 2.7), citation style: alphadin.

In order to prevent or enforce line breaks I would like to use latex commands (\mbox{}, ~, \-). During bibtex export Zotero generates smth. like "{\textbackslash}-, {\textasciitilde}, {\textbackslash}mbox{}}".

Is there any way to "mask/hide" the tex commands for bibtex export? Is there any other way to enforce/prevent line breaks in bibliography?

Thanks in advance,

Iwanai
  • Use the unicode character for non-breaking spaces:
    http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/00a0/index.htm
  • Sorry - does not work for me: The none-breaking space seems to be exported as simple space char if I use the windows 1252 encoding.

Is there any way to stop the tex tags being "translated" into \textasciitilde,\textbackslash etc. during zotero2bibtex export?

    Thanks

Curious. It is in the character mapping table. I don't know, offhand, why it doesn't work.

No. Zotero is not a BibTeX-specific reference manager & it therefore assumes that you mean a literal tilde, backslash, etc.
