export zotero collection hirarchy to Endnote
At my new working place I am not allowed to use any type of open software so I am forced to move my zotero library to Endnote. I was able to export the library including the pdf files. However, I organized all my items in zotero by using collections and subcollections and I could not export my zotero collection hirarchy to Endnote. As far as I understood, there seems to be no way of directly Export zotero collections to Endnote groups so I would like to know whether I could use tags as a workaround. My idea is to automatically write the collection the items are organized in as tags. Since tags are portable I should be able to sort my items in Endnote according to the tags and then reorganize the items by using groups in Endnote. However, how do I automatically transform the respective collection name into a tag? Can anyone tell me whether this is an appropiate way of solving the problem? Or is there a better solution?

(Also, I am so sorry that you have to move in this direction. Did your new workplace give a particular reason for the restriction--is it just that they need to review each individual piece of software for security?)
When I export each collection separatly, do I get duplicat files in Endnote when an item is included in more than one collection?

this is exactly the case. The agency I am now working for has a contract with an external IT service provider resulting in the fact that no one is even allowed to run any type of .exe file (so I cannot even use portable versions of e.g. Firefox, which is really annoying!) However, I cannot change the Situation, so I have to get used to it...)
