Chicago - Multiple authors in text citation are not sorted
Hello,
I've been experiencing a trouble that the authors' names listed in text citation are not sorted. It appears that this issue was discussed as a sort of bug several times in the past and some suggested using APA. APA is my regular citation style, but my target journal requires Chicago manual style. Is there any way that this problem is fixed and I can continue to use Chicago style with the correct order of the authors' names in text? Thanks.

adamsmithChicago Manual does not, as far as I'm aware, prescribe any sorting of works in parenthetical citations. This is not a bug; the style follows the manual. Why do you think in-text citations need to be sorted in some way?
