zotero5 connector in tor-browser
Hi,
The zotero5 connector in tor-browser7.0.4 (based on Mozilla Firefox 52.3.0 64-bit version) does not seem to do anything that appends entries in zotero-standalone 5.0.17, although the relevant sites including zotero.org was whitelisted by the noscript plugin that comes default with tor-browser. The OS is Ubuntu 14.04.
Even the zotero preferences are not accessible under tor-browser, fyi.
Are there other ways to make zotero connector for firefox work with tor-browser? Thanks!

LiborAIf the Tor Browser does not support the same functionality as the Mozilla then it is very likely that the connector will not work in this browser.

adamsmithI think it actually might work (though no promises). Key thing to whitelist would not be zotero.org but port 127.0.0.1 (a local port) and you'd need to whitelist it from TOR, not noScript.

zennyt@adamsmith, I have set no proxy for 'localhost,127.0.0.1' under the network settings of TOR. Would you mind pointing where else to whitelist in TOR if that is not the case? Thanks.

adamsmithno, I think that's the right place; I don't know then, sorry (there's just no way to test Zotero on the various unbranded forks)
