Chrome connector no longer saving PDF automatically

I recently had to wipe my computer. I just reinstalled Zotero and the connector for Chrome, so they are the latest versions. When I look at articles, right now on Science Direct, the connector shows a folder icon and then when I save the citation, it only saves a webpage. I can only download the PDF if I click on the PDF, which I then have to drag and drop in the standalone to the appropriate article. Previously, on the exact same Science Direct page, I could click the icon and it would automatically save the PDF, even if I hadn't opened the PDF. I checked my settings in the standalone, and it is supposed to automatically save the PDF. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Basically on any site where I'm trying to pull scientific articles. I'm mostly on ScienceDirect, so I'll pull a link from there. The page is displayed in a frame inside a serialssolution page and Zotero isn't able to pick that up anymore -- is there no way you could just look at the SD page (which would then have a sciencedirect in the URL)?
