print abstract list

Hi everyone, I am a Zotero newbie and need to find out how to print a list of my bibliography only with their abstract, so that I can easily sort them out.

The problem is that I downloaded 5.0 version in order to share a library with my supervisor and now we cannot do it!

HELP, PLEASE!!!
  • You can use the Report feature (select the items you want, right click, Generate Report). This will include the item data (including abstract), as well as any tags or notes for the items.

If you want a formatted reference with the abstract, you can use a Zotero/CSL style for that. Here are two styles that give the citation in APA or Chicago style, followed by the abstract:

If you want a different style, that would be easy to make the modifications. Let me know and I can give instructions.
  • bwiernik, thanks a lot for your help. The situation is that we want to print all the references we have in a shared library and with the report appear many other things that we are not interested in, like notes and so on. Since we are talking about a phd thesis we have about 1000 references and this occupies a lot of space, but we want to sort them out by the abstract, that is why we only want this aspect.

I found a zotero report customizer that allowed me to do that but we could not run it in my supervisor's computer, probably because she had an older version of the programme.
  • In that case, just use one of the CSL styles I linked to above (this prints just the reference and the abstract).
  • awesome, thank you very much!
  • Work has restarted on the Report Customizer for Zotero 5. Reordering doesn't work yet, but removal does. Available at https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-report-customizer.
