Connector doesn't recognise publication type anymore?

Hello all,

I am currently gathering a lot of bibliographic information and have done so last week successfully with the zotero connector and Regesta Imperii online and the GVK. When I found a publication on those websites, the tool recognised if those were monographs or articles etc. and I could then import them accordingly. I was just trying to continue with this work, but the connector doesn't seem to recognise the bibliographic information on these websites any longer (I can only import the website at the moment rather than the information on it). Am I doing something wrong? Did something change between last week and today that prevents the tool from working properly? I checked all my settings but couldn't find anything that would explain this.
  • Can you post a specific URL where this problem occurs?

Also, does the same problem happen for you on other websites (such as other journals or the New York Times)?
  • It happened on all catalogue websites yesterday that I had previously successfully used. I just tried it with a different computer and it works perfectly. I suppose it's an issue with the connector, though I checked all the settings, reconnected it and importing websites to my db worked as well. But I have also noticed that every time I start Firefox, the connector behaves as if it had just been newly installed (e.g. I always get the welcome message before I can use it).
  • Are you using a strict privacy/cookie setting in Firefox? If so, this is a known issue that should be fixed in the next version.
