LibreOffice cannot communicate with Zotero

Hi, I'm getting the "OpenOffice.org could not communicate with Zotero" message when trying to insert citations in LibreOffice from Zotero Standalone.

I've checked out some of the previous threads on this and it doesn't seem to be an issue with libreoffice-java-common which is up to date.

OS - GalliumOS 2.1 (built on Ubuntu 16.04.4)
LO version - 5.1.6.2
Firefox version - 54.0
Zotero version - 5.0.4
JRE in LO - 1.8.0_131

Upgrade to Zotero 5.0.7.
The reference to "openoffice.org"… what happens when you install the LO plugin from the Cite pane of the Zotero preferences (Edit->Preferences)?

@freakatoms also highly recommended is upgrading LO to 5.3 and reinstalling the LO plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processor Plugins

Thanks for your help, fixed by upgrading to Zotero 5.0.7. This is a little annoying as Synaptic package manager doesn't have the most recent version so have had to install manually using the tarball and now launch Zotero via terminal :'( But it works.

Thanks, I'd already tried following those instructions with no luck, might not be supported in my distro.
