[PROBLEM WITH Zotfile.xpi]

I just installed the zotfile.xpi and I found a a little problem. Every time I left-click on any folder in my Zotero library, a small message appears:

"ZotFile ERROR - the source folder is not valid. Please change the source folder under ZOTERO-Actions-Zotfile preferences. You might have to use a custom folder."

I don't know what it actually means, as i have all my files dully saved in Zotero's standard folders, and as far as i have noted everything is working just fine, but, the message keep on appearing . Do you have any clue of what it is and how to get rid of it?

    That error is referring to a feature that is not longer in Zotfile. Did you download the current version from Zotfile.com ?

    I am using the zotfile-4.2.8-fx.xpi, which is the version compatible to Zotero 4. The version of Zotero I am currently using is the version 4.0.29.17.

    I am gonna try to reinstall it.

    Just reinstalled it and nothing changed. I also verified if the versions are correct and in zotfile.com I found the following: "For Zotero 4.x Standalone, use the same steps as for Zotero 5 but download the .xpi file from here (link)". The link takes you to the exact the same version (zotfile-4.2.8-fx.xpi). So it is not a compatibility iamong versions issue, I guess.

    Okay. This issue is fixed in Zotfile 5.0 (which I recommend you switch to along with Zotero 5.0).

    To workaround fix it in Zotfile 4.x, open the Zotfile preferences and choose a folder for the “Watch folder” setting.
