5.0 notes and clearing formatting

I remember (or misremember) that Zotero 4's notes had the ability to clear HTML formatting from copied and pasted notes (via an eraser icon). I don't see that in 5.0. Do I remember that correctly, and will that functionality return? It was sure much easier than showing the source of the note and deleting code by hand.
  • Click the "Tx" icon at the top right.
  • (actually, that does not work for me – but the icon is here)

@Gracile: Not sure what you mean. It works fine for me.
  • I never would have recognized that icon as meaning "clear formatting." Thanks.

It's just the default icon from the note editor we use, but you can hover over all the icons for descriptions of what they do.

I was expecting this button would remove any formatting. But it does not remove links, quotes and styles (i.e. heading 1, 2, 3…).
[Edit: "Clear formatting" had the same behaviour in 4.0]
