[5.0 Beta] High CPU usage

    Seeing high CPU usage of Zotero on Mac. Constantly 110% on a MBA 5.1. Restarts of the program or system doesn't change this behavior.

    Zotero 5.0-beta.231+f7c1c56d7, Mac OS 10.12.6 Beta (16G23a) & Firefox 55.0b6.

    Can you provide a Debug ID for a minute or two of the high CPU?

    Then it's just the syncing that's causing the high load. What does it say when you hover over the sync icon?

    Note that you're at your file sync quota, so you should make sure file syncing is disabled in the prefs.

    I guess it's a sync-quota problem.

    Yeah, looks like the handling for that is suboptimal in 5.0. We'll fix that, but you can just disable file syncing for now, since you're not using it anyway.

    Thx, didn't see your follow up post! Disabled syncing and CPU is down to ~6%.
