Importing references with PDFs attached, please make responses for beginners

Not sure if any of you are experiencing this, but when importing old references from an older reference manager, like mendeley, the PDFs are not being pulled with .bibtex or .ris export from the old reference manager.
Any help??

    RIS from Mendeley should work. You are importing on the same computer?

    Yes I am! I have tried that as per other comments on other forums :/

    Open the RIS with a text editor (TextEdit, Notepad) and post the first 30 lines or so here.

    N2 - In the past decade, a significant amount of active and enthusiastic research has changed the way we treat acute pancreatitis (AP) within the first 24 hours of presentation. We highlight the importance of rapid initiation of treatment to help prevent the considerable morbidity and mortality that can occur when interventions are delayed. We review recent data that validate simple and accurate tools for prognostication of AP to replace the older, more tedious methods that relied on numerous factors and required up to 48 hours to complete. Additionally, we aim to provide evidence-based guidelines and end points for fluid resuscitation. Finally, we hope to bring clarification to two previously controversial topics in AP treatment: the use of prophylactic antibiotics and early endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.

    actually exists on your computer? This should really just work.

    Yeah! I cant search it but if i manually go through C: i can find it :/

    Hmm i guess I have to go through all the references and open them up before!

    But do you think these pdfs would get lost if I cancelled my subscription with mendeley?!

    I don't know Mendeley that well, but my understanding is that it shouldn't delete anything local even if you don't have a sufficiently large account anymore.
