[solved]Vgl./Vergleiche (“confer”/“cf.”) in footnotes
Hi,
This is the setup I’m using:
zotero standalone 4.0.29.10 on linux
libreoffice 5.3.3.2
zotero plugin 3.5.9
CMS 16 full note style
Is there a way to add “See” or “Cf.” (German „Siehe auch“ / „Vergleiche“) to a footnote? Manually adjusting the footnotes sometimes results in problems.
Also, sometimes a quote starts on one page and ends on the next, which I’d like to indicate with an “f” after the page. Is there a way to do that?

bwiernikPut your cursor next to the citation number in text and click the Edit Citation button. Click the reference you would like to add the prefix to and enter it in the Prefix field.

wush1Thanks, that was easy. I had not seen these options because I had to click the zotero symbol and choose “classic view”.

bwiernikYou don't have to use classic view (in fact, I would strongly discourage it). Instead, click on the blue bubble for the individual reference in the citation window and type in the fields in the ensuing pop-up.

wush1Thanks for your hint, that’s a much better workflow!
