APA 6th edition, biblography does not have "date accessed" in references with URL links

Hi mates,

My biblography is in APA 6th edition. Some references do have automatically date accessed, but others with URL references do not have. Why is this so? It should have been standardized. I have a very large biblography of my dissertation. I am now going to manually put the date accessed to the references, but do you have any ideas for the future or a way that I can do them inside zotero pan in firefox?

best regards, farooq.

APA generally recommends that access dates NOT be included, unless the item is likely to change frequently in the future. Zotero implements this guideline by only including Access Dates for "webpage" items and not items of other types (e.g., reports).

So, I would recommend NOT manually putting them into your dissertation, as this would be against APA formatting guidelines.
  • Thank you so much bwiernik. Very much appreciated and much clarified now. I hope reviewers know this already and do not object to this.
    sincerely,
    farooq.
