Zotero-LibreOffice-Plugin-3.5.12.xpi add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt

Hi,

I'm trying to install the LibreOffice plugin for Firefox from this link:

https://download.zotero.org/integration/Zotero-LibreOffice-Plugin-3.5.12.xpi

I get the error message "This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt."

I'm running Firefox 46.0 on Ubuntu 14.04. Is anyone else having this issue or can advise? If I can't get Zotero to connect to LibreOffice it'll be pretty much unusable :(

    Clear your Firefox cache or download the XPI from another browser and drag it into Firefox.

    You should also use either the latest version of Firefox, currently 53, or Firefox 52 ESR — 46 is outdated and unmaintained.

    Note, too, that Zotero 5.0 is very close to being released, and it will be Standalone only, so you may be better off just installing Zotero Standalone 4.0 now, which comes with the word processor integration plugins bundled.

    Thanks for your advice, clearing cache and downloading in a different browser didn't work, I've gone with Standalone and it's working :)
