Snapshot not showing

Zotero in Firefox 53.0 (64 bit) does not display snapshots for items in library and with blue dot. Zotero standalone 4.0.28.10 same problem. Chrome 58.0.3029.36 same problem. Need my snapshots since web page3s can change.

    Start by updating. You should use Zotero 4.0.29.x

    Did you take these on this computer or on a different one? Any particular site or any site?

    Updated to 4.0.29.10. Same problem. This computer and any snapshot taken ever in last 10 years.

    I'm not quite sure what you mean here. "Does not display" how? All Zotero Standalone does for snapshots is open the HTML file on your disk in a browser — it's the same as choosing Show File and then opening that HTML file.

    It's not opening the link in the browser either from standalone, firefox or chrome extensions.

    Standalone does open a new Firefox window but no link displayed.

    What's the URL? And what happens if you right-click on a snapshot, select Show File, and then open the HTML file from the filesystem?

    Any url, ie https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-grow-strawberry-plants-in-pots-1401968. I cannot show any snapshot for the last ten years. Right click and show snapshot opens new firefox windown but it is blank. an empty window. My OS is linux mint 18.1 mate with kernel 4.4.0-77.

    No, I mean what's the URL shown in the Firefox window when it opens? It should just be a file:// URL.
    Right click and show snapshot
    No, right-click -> Show File. It should reveal an HTML file in your filesystem within the 'storage' subdirectory in your Zotero data directory (though that doesn't always work on Linux). I'm asking what happens when you just double-click that HTML file.

    No url in address bar. Double click html opens new empty firefox window.

    If opening an HTML file from the filesystem doesn't work, that's not a Zotero problem.

    When I make chrome default browser, snapshot works. With firefox and zotero it opens the attached url correctly, but not from file system. Thanks

    Noscript is the extension causing the problem. Any suggestion on to fix it? I already have file:// whitelisted in noscript.

    Still not opening snapshot in Firefox, just opens blank window. Chrome works fine.

    Installed standalone with Chrome and Firefox connectors. Chrome works good. Firefox not so much. I have no icon for the connector and Zotero just opens an empty window. I only disabled the Firefox Zotero addon. Must I remove it?

    I think no, I've very long time used Zotero for FF and Standalone together.
