MLA 8th: publisher abbreviations
When I make a bibliography for MLA 8th I get the full, unabbreviated version of the publisher. If I want the publisher names to be abbreviated, should I just abbreviate them myself in the individual entries?
What I'm talking about is:
In Zotero I would have the publisher listed as "Indiana University Press" but really I want it to show as "Indiana UP" when I insert a bibliography in my word document because that's what MLA style says to do. Is there a way to do this without listing the publisher as "Indiana UP" within Zotero? I might want to cite one source in multiple styles so I am hesitant to do that.

bwiernikYes, you would have to edit them in the Zotero data. Alternatively, you can look at the Abbreviations Filter plugin, which you might be able to use to abbreviate them automatically.

tanapattreThank you. For now I will edit the Zotero data but I will try out the Abbreviations Filter plugin.
