mozilla problem

My Mozilla was apparently infected by some virus and I deleted it from my computer. Since then, I have tried to download a new version of it but the new version would not work and now I am getting an "unsafe" message from Norton when I try to download it. Any explanation and suggestion on what to do?

Are you downloading Zotero from http://Zotero.org/download?

and are you even talking about Zotero or is this about Firefox? I'm not sure I quite follow what "it" is here.

No, I am not talking about Zotero--but about Firefox Mozilla--but since you need MOzilla to run Zotero, I need to figure out what the problem with Mozilla is.

FWIW, you can run Zotero as a standalone program and connect it to other browsers such as Chrome. See http://zotero.org/download for your options.
For Firefox, you'd have to look to Mozilla for support. We can't help with that here, I'm afraid.
