Feedback: "Abbreviate journal titles" checkbox in doc prefs
After working with a law faculty member who couldn't figure out why journal titles were being incorrectly abbreviated when using Bluebook style, I realized that he'd checked the "Automatically abbreviate journal titles" box in the document preferences in Word without reading the bit about it applying to MEDLINE journal abbreviations.
How about removing that ambiguity by rewording it? For example, [ Use MEDLINE journal abbreviations (The "Journal abbr" field will be ignored.) ]
I haven't tried out 5.0, so maybe this has already been addressed there.
