I have still have it on my openoffice text, can i transfer it to zotero mozilla ? I try import but the doesn't work.
Thanks for yours answers. (English or french plz !:))
  • Were you syncing your previous installation of Zotero with zotero.org? (You can check by clicking on My Library on Zotero.org when logged in.) If so, the easiest would be to just sync to your new Zotero installation?

Second, do you have a backup of your computer before you restored it? What operating system (Mac, Windows, etc.) and version is your compter? We may be able to show you where in a backup to find your library.

There are some options if the the above don't work, but they take a few more steps and aren't as nice, so let's try the above first.

(Feel free to write in French.)

If you have bibliography in your OpenOffice document and you are able edit in the MS Word, then you can try to use this: http://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/
  • (Note, though that to use LiborA's solution, you need to change the Document Preferences in the Zotero toolbar in your document to use Bookmarks, rather than Reference Marks, then save as .docx file. If possible, it will be much easier to use one of the two solutions I mentioned above.)
