Bookmarklet downloads snapshot instead of pdf

I constantly get this https://paste.wentropy.com/SEVI.jpg while downloading pdf from acm.org. What can I do?

    probably nothing. The bookmarklet won't always work to download PDFs. Does it work on any site (especially for open access PDFs)? What browser/OS are you using?

    It sometimes works even at acm.org. I use a browser based on qtwebengine - qutebrowser.

    and this is with Standalone running or not?

    and this is entirely inconsistent behavior? I.e. it will sometimes save the PDF and sometimes not from the same page? Or is there any pattern? Also consider type of connection -- this is much more likely to work on campus or on a VPN than when connected through a proxy.

    well, I'm using a pac proxy but it should bypass the acm.org site since I'm on campus.

    @adamsmith hmm, it seems I can no longer save the PDF from dl.acm.org anymore. chrome and firefox extension work fine though.
