I have had repeated errors with citations in Microsoft Word for Mac for the last few months. I enter a new citation with Zotero, the citation will be listed correctly when I go to edit it, however, when I then try to edit any other citation in the same document only the original edited citation comes up. For example, paragraph1, paragraph2. The first time I open a citation for (1) the correct citation comes up, however when I open citation (2) for editing, the reference for citation (1) appears in the Zotero pop-up window. This re-curs in spite of shut down of Word, the laptop, and re-installing the latest Microsoft Word for Mac plug-in.

I have recently installed two new citation styles: American Journal of Human Genetics, and JAMA. Both cause the same issues above. I wonder if it is the citation styles causing problems? Thanks for help asap.
