Unsolicited sources appearing in my Zotero library
Is anyone else finding sources that they are not downloading, in their Zotero library? I'd say that someone has hacked my account, but they are oddly appropriate sources, citations I haven't downloaded or even heard of, but that sort of fit my field (I do a lot of ecological bioinformatics). They pop up every few days, often in duplicate or triplicate.

DWL-SDCAAre you a member of Zotero groups?

churchNo, did I misstep posting here?

DWL-SDCAYou posted to the proper place. I was reaching for an explanation of what could be causing your experience.

DWL-SDCAUnless you are sharing your Zotero account with a colleague or student, I can only think of one way for this to happen. When you visit a publisher or database site to import items, did the Zotero import icon resemble a folder instead of a book, page, or something similar? Importing from a folder gives the option of importing multiple items at once.

churchHmm. Not sure. I did notice on my last download that I somehow managed to download all of the sources from a paper, rather than the citation of the paper itself. I will watch for the folder icon you're mentioning.
