reset to restore broken links from a restored library
Hello,
I am wondering if it is a good option to reinitialize/reset my server (option "restore to server) in this situation:
- my library was totally empty last week. The problem came from the server (in the way that I had the data locally but the server didn't sync it)
- I could locate the library in my firefox profile, but each time I restored it, the sync from the server deleted all over again
- to "fool" the server so that he accepts the restored library as the last modification, I exported the library which then has a new date
- so I could restore my library on the server but now all my links are broken (in my PhD document which has more than 460 pages...)
- the worst is avoided as I have recovered my library but if I could restore the links it would be more practical so that every modification doesn't have to be made manually...
- so in that case is it worthy to reset from my computer?
Thank you for your help :)

1) Turn off automatic sync
2) Restore the database from the back-up (I assume you know how to do that, but just in case: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#restoring_your_zotero_library_from_a_backup_and_overwriting_synced_changes )
3) In the Zotero preferences, under Sync --> Reset use the "Restore to Server" option.
I'm gonna try this and tell you if it works. :)
What you suggested worked perfectly, thank you! :)
