Database corrupted after upgrading to version 1.0.0b4.r1.r1343

I'm using portable Firefox 2.0.0.3. After upgrading Zotero to version 1.0.0b4.r1.r1343 each time I start Firefox the same screen appears telling me that the database is corrupted. I searched the site on database corruption and substituted zotero.sqlite.tmp for zotero.sqlite. This did not help however.
Any other people having the same experience, anyone any ideas what to do?

  • We haven't experienced this problem, but we also haven't tested Zotero on a portable drive. Is there a .bak file in the Zotero directory? What other files appear in the Zotero directory? Did you run out of disk space?

You may want to grab the official sqlite3 command-line client and see if you're able to open the database that way. Depending on how corrupted the database is, you may be able to extract some data from it manually and reconstruct the database.
  • Been away for sometime. In the meantime reinstalled all and everything started working again. Can't reconstruct where things went wrong.
