Not extracting Authors from AIP

There's an issue with the the Firefox add-on. IT doesn't extract the authors from AIP publications like applied physics letters. Has anyone come across this? How do I fix it?

If I recall correctly, that data is missing in the metadata AIP supplies -- could you link to one or two examples?

There's another issue. (Not aip). I came across certain articles where the name is not extracted properly. I can't remember all of the instances but here's an example:

adamsmith remembers correctly. The RIS metadata with your first example doesn't include author names. Although author names are included in the page headers, the names are not consistently in the same format (first name, initials, last name, punctuation).

The APS article has a garbled title for me, but gets all authors. Is that not the case for you?

So am I to understand that for AIP I will always have to put in the author names manually?

for the time being, yes. We've had several people contact them and hope for a fix on their end (which is where the problem is). If that's absolutely not happening, we can re-visit a stop-gap on the Zotero side.
