Ability to download attachments from the Internet

I'm using zotero to store all the literature on my research topic and the ability to add a copy of file as an attachment is one of the reasons why I chose zotero. But when I find a new article on the internet. I have first to download it, then I'm adding it as an attachment, and after this I'm deleting the original file (from the desktop usually as it downloaded there).
It would be without any doubt more conviniently to have an ability to just download the file as an attachment directly from the internet to zotero library.

    Gear menu, Preferences, "Automatically attach associated PDFs and other files when saving items"

    If you're downloading a file independently, you can also just drag the link over an existing Zotero item to save it as an attachment.
