Timeline feature doesn't work!

I did as taught by the demo video of timeline feature, but timeline never works. When I select some titles and press "create timeline", they just don't appear on the timeline, never.
Is this some sort of a bug? How can I fix this? This problem applies to version 1.0.9 and 1.5 beta and bea 2. I'm pretty much troubled by this malfunction since my thesis requires timeline for analysis.
  • I haven't heard of any problems like this. Are you sure your timeline is empty and not just showing you part of the timeline that has no items in it? If you use the skip to date field and jump to a spot where you should have an item is it empty?
  • Are you sure your timeline is empty and not just showing you part of the timeline that has no items in it? <=Yes, all empty.

If you use the skip to date field and jump to a spot where you should have an item is it empty? <= Yes, still empty.

    This troubles me a lot.
  • I uploaded snapshots of my screen and they'll show you what I've been through.

    Step 1. selecting items:

    Step2.clicking 'Create Timeline"

    And then empty timeline

*All the selected items are created in 2009 but nothing shows within 2009 on the timeline.

It doesn't look like those items have publication dates. Is that correct? Try selecting 加入日期 (date added) in the drop box in the timeline window where it currently has 發表日期 (publication date) selected.
