Zotero Online: No childnote

Sometimes I use Zotero Online (i.e. the website) to work on my library with my tablet. Zotero is opened in Firefox on Android.
When I want to add a childnote to an existing item like a book for instance, there is no such thing. I can only add notes to my library but no childnotes. Also, there is no possibility in the note editor to assign a note to a parent item.
Do I have to use another browser or are these functions not available in Zotero Online?

    I haven't tried this in FF for Android, but in general, on the website (both mobile and desktop) Add note is -- different from the regular Zotero -- under "Edit item". So you click on edit item, scroll all the way to the bottom, then click "add note"

    Hi Adam, unfortunately that's not what it is like. Actually, "Note" is the first entry in the dropdown list, which is convinient in gerenal. But there's no "Childnote" available in the dropdown list, nor is there a function "Assign to parent item" in the editor.

    It would be good, if someone from the developers would look into this.

    But that sounds like you're clicking on "Create". What you want to do is to click on the item, then on "Edit", the scroll to the bottom.
