Add-in Plugin in Word missing

Hello,

all out of a sudden, the Plugin Tab in Word is no longer there.
I'm using the latest Mac Version + MS Office 2016 with just the latest Updates installed.

What's also weird is that I get MS Error Reporting Messages every time I close Word.

Any help much appreciated.

Yes, it worked in Word 2016 before, and I didn't actively change anything..

It seems MS Word 2016 on Mac is now a 64 Bit Version instead of 32 Bit and is thus no longer compatible with 32 Bit Add-ins.

Is there a 64 Bit Zotero Addin?

The architecture has nothing to do with the add-on.

If you go into the "Developer" tab (you might need to enable it in Word Preferences -> View -> Show developer tab) and click Macros do you see a list of Zotero macros (e.g. ZoteroAddCitation)?

Thank you, adomasven, for your response.

When I go to "Macros in:" and select the current document, there are no macros listed. When I select Zotero.dot (global template), I get a list of macros (also the one you specified) and when I run it, I can actually insert the citation to my text. Cool!
But the word- toolbar is still missing. Hints? :-)

So I'm not sure why this is happening, but we've had a couple of reports. We are planning to roll out improved interface for Mac Word 2016 with Zotero 5.0, but you can try it early and see if it works:

- Download https://github.com/zotero/zotero-word-for-mac-integration/raw/master/install/Zotero.dotm
- Place it in your startup folder as described in https://www.zotero.org/support/windows_word_plugin_manual_installation_instructions#manually_installing_the_zotero_word_for_mac_2016_plugin
- Remove Zotero.dot from the startup folder
- You should see a "Zotero" tab in Word 2016

Hi! I have the same issue but I'm using Win 10 x64 + MS Office 2013 and the firefox is also 64bits.
I spent the day uninstalling the software, the plugins, the add ons and re-installing.
Following the tips on previous posts....
But, nothing worked.

@nanochemista This is a MacOS bug, so while the problems might seem related, it is most likely something else. Start a new thread describing your problem in detail after reading the Reporting Problems guide.
