Version syncing of PDFs within Box?

Will PDFs linked in Zotero (which are currently being saved in Box via WebDAV) automatically be updated when I edit them in Drawboard?

In other words, will all copies of a PDF (on my computer, on zotero cloud, and in Box) be synced once I edit it in Drawboard? Do I need to do anything special to make this happen?

    Just to clarify, are you using a third party service like DropDAV to store your PDFs in Dropbox? Dropbox doesn't support WebDAV natively.

    But generally, yes, if you edit the file stored or linked in Zotero in another app, the changes will appear in Zotero so long as whatever method you are using to sync is working and you save the file in place in the same location/don't inadvertently make duplicate/locally stored versions (e.g., I'm not sure how Drawboard works).
