Dokumententypen modifizieren

Ich möchte einen großen Korpus an Briefen in Zotero erfassen und dazu auch den Ausstellungsort der jeweiligen Briefe angeben können. Leider bietet der Dokumententyp "Brief" das zugehörige Feld nicht an. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, ein solches Feld hinzuzufügen oder einen neuen Dokumententyp zu definieren.

I want to safe the data of several letters in Zotero and for doing so I also want to safe the information about the place where the letter was written. Unfortunatly the document type "lettre" does not offer an appropriate field for this. Is there the possibility for me to create such a field or to create a new type of document mask?

    You can store data for unsupported fields in the Extra field. If you put this at the top of the Extra field:
    event-place: Berlin

    The letter's place of writing will be available for citing. This won't make the letter show up when searching "place" in Zotero's interface, but it will make citation work. Place will almost certainly be added to letters when fields and item types are updated in Zotero (currently scheduled for Zotero 5.1).

    Thanks a lot. Actually, that was the solution I came up with so far. Then I am looking forward to Zotero 5.1.
