Is it possible to not search attachments? This especially needed in the word-plugin. I have currently turned off indexing because I get too many results when I search. If I search for an author I will get all the articles that cites this author which is quite annoying
you can in Zotero itself (same way as above, just select author (or title, or whatever) instead of attachment content. In the word plug-in I don't think so, but if it's just about the author, you can also just sort the library by creator, which will allow you to find the author relatively quickly - if the library is very large, search for the author, then sort by creator, that should do - maybe not perfect, but neither would be going through a complicated search menu in the word plugin.
