latest version of Zotero is incompatible with word 2010

Hi! I install word 2010 and the latest version of Zotero and word plug-in but it is not working with 2010.
which version is compatible with word 2010??

    You'd have to say what exactly you're trying and what's not working.

    I want to say that latest version is not compatible with MS word 2010. I try it many times and but the word plugin of Zotero for word 2010 is not working.

    Again, you have to tell us exactly what you're trying and what's happening when you try, including exact error messages. The Zotero Word plugin is definitely compatible with Word 2010.

    Ok again.... I downloaded the Zotero standalone from zotero.com by using google chrome. Then I installed it. then I open it and go to "tools"....then go to preferences... then click on the "install Microsoft word add in" ...but it was not installed and a message appeared "Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that Microsoft Word is closed, and then restart Zotero." in fact, the ms word was closed and try this many times but failed.

    With the exception of, as https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation#microsoft_word states, the Word 2010 Starter Edition, so do make sure you don't have that.

    Ah, good point. @Hassnianali, if you don't have the Starter Edition, we'd want to see a Report ID after the installation attempt.

    I have ms office 2010 plus. Actually I am using Zotero word plugin from last 5 months. It was working but 2 days before the Zotero tab was disappeared from word 2010. I don't know how and why. Then I reinstall ms office 2010 plus again and try to install Zotero word plugin but it was not done. Then I reinstall the Zotero and try again but failed. Zotero is very helpful for me that's why I am worried about this problem about Zotero word plugin for ms word 2010.

    really, we need more specifics than "but it was not done" or "try again but failed" -- what exactly are you doing, what happens or doesn't happen, and what do you see/don't see.

    The trail is...download the latest version of Zotero by using google chrome>install the Zotero standalone>open Zotero standalone>tools>prefernces>click on Install Microsoft plugin>a messaged appeared>"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred.     I closed the ms word before doing this. But I failed every time.

    So this is due to either file permissions on your Word startup folder or security software on your system preventing Zotero from installing the file. You can try a manual installation:
