v4.0.29.17 Zotero Standalone version does not synch from server

I installed the Zotero Standalone version on a new computer. The right upper green synch arrow is rotating and nothing is happening for 30min+

My 760MB of storage info is all there on the server, but Zotero Standalone does not download it. Internet speed is 20-30mbpsec. What am I doing wrong? No such issues in the past. Standalone loaded within some 2-4min.

    The initial sync on a new computer can take a while. Just let it go and it will finish.

    (The upcoming Zotero 5.0 will sync changes more gradually, so you'll be able to see progress as it happens.)

    (And syncing is a bit slower than usual at the moment, but this will also be resolved with 5.0.)
