Group Libraries

Hi, How do you delete a group library once the collaboration has ended? Also, is there a way to share one's entire library or do you have to create a group, then transfer the library? My library contains over 15,000 PDF's and am afraid of manipulating that many items.

You can make your library (minus file attachments) public under
https://www.zotero.org/settings/privacy

For a group, the group's owner can delete a group under "Group Settings" on the right. Note that this will remove the group's content from everyone syncing to it.
You can also leave a group you're member of (though not if you're the owner) on the group's landing page, i.e. when you go to https://www.zotero.org/groups/ and then click on the group's name

Thank you for the group delete info. So I cannot invite a few people to have access to my library without making a group which contains the library?

correct. Sharing your personal library is all or nothing in terms of audience (the only flexibility is whether you share notes).

Hi,

I have tried to make new group libraries. They show up on the web but are not visible on the stand alone version. One have them was made days ago....any advise?

Also, make sure you don't have group libraries hidden locally -- there's a small arrow/triangle next to "Group Libraries" that expands/collapses them.
