Upgrade StorageEliminate period when Suppress author is chosen
I understand that according to the current footnote citations for Chicago style, every footnote ends with a period.
the suffix="." in the style above makes sure of it such that the citation is:
1. John Doe, When Life is Hard (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans), 22.
But I have situations when I write a comment in the footnote and the citation is inserted within brackets and should not have a period at the end.
E.g.
1. John Doe says "Blah blah blah" [When Life is Hard (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans), 22].
How do I edit the style so as to eliminate the ending period of footnote citations WHENEVER the suppress author is checked?

adamsmithYou can't code that in the style (it's either final period always or never), but for the example above, prefix "John Does says 'Blah blah' [" and suffix "]" with suppress author would get you what you want.
